Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Demixly (demixly.com) collects when you use the site, why, and how long we keep it. In short: we keep only what is needed to run the tools, we delete your files automatically, and we never sell your data or use your files to train AI.

1. Files you process

  • Some tools run entirely in your browser (they say so under the upload box). Their files never leave your device.
  • The other tools (vocal remover, stem splitter, effects, lyrics, karaoke…) upload your file to our server for processing. Uploaded files and results are deleted automatically 2 hours after processing (24 hours if you are signed in), or earlier when you remove them.
  • If you paste a link, our server downloads the file from that link for you.
  • We do not look at, share or sell your files, and we never use them to train AI models.

2. Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account ID. We use them only to show who is signed in, keep your history and apply your higher limits. We never receive your Google password, and we do not ask for access to your Google Drive, YouTube or any other Google data.

3. Cookies and local storage

  • dmx_session: a sign-in cookie (httpOnly, secure) that lasts 30 days. It is only set if you sign in.
  • Your browser’s local storage remembers your theme and language.
  • We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie.

4. Logs and limits

To prevent abuse, the server keeps your IP address (or your account ID if you are signed in) in memory for up to one hour to apply the hourly limits. Short-lived technical logs (time, request, errors) help us keep the service running and are not used to profile you.

5. Service providers

  • DigitalOcean: server hosting (Singapore)
  • Cloudflare: content delivery and protection
  • Google: sign-in

They process data only to provide their service to us.

6. Your choices and rights

You can remove any result at any time, sign out, or delete your account from the account menu. Deleting your account immediately removes your profile and all your files from our server. For any other request (access, correction, questions), email [email protected].

7. Children

Demixly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and important changes will be announced on the site.
